I just finished watching the discussion – thanks for recording this! It clarified some questions I also had, and I found the debate on mineral rights interesting. The conflict in the Beaufort Sea also came up, which I am trying to write about for my first policy brief. The discussion about minerals also reminded me of conversations that were going on in Greenland about minerals, oil and gas extraction, and how locals were responding to it, trying to ascertain their rights in the face of the current development in Greenland, which calls for more independence but also needs to think about how this independence could look like in terms of financing the country.

I’m glad you found it useful, Lydia!
